Star shoes for Sale

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

These shoes are for sale!

Price: $70 USD

Size: Women’s size 8
(about 10 3/4 inches long from outside heel to toe. Compare to other Airwalk women’s size 8 to be sure!)

Brand: Airwalk

Material: New shoes, canvas with rubber soles. Coloured with fabric markers and heat set, will not come off in the wash.

Shipping: US: $8, Canada: $10, Other: just ask

Finally finished these! It took a while because I wanted to test them. I threw them in the wash with cold water and detergent, and even threw them in the dryer, and they came out fine!

They have been varnished with acrlylic/oil paint varnish for canvas, and then coated with waterproofing shoe spray. The design is permanent, waterproof and will not wash off. They are good to throw in a washing machine, though I recommend just spot washing with a cloth so the varnishes don’t come off.

Snow in South Carolina

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

We actually had a major snowfall down here! It was pretty ridiculous, considering this area had not seen this much snow in over 2 decades. I was very happy to be a part of it :) It started in the evening and we went out to play in it, and then it just didn’t let up! More and more people went outside to enjoy it. We built some snowmen, and then had a huge snowball fight with a lot of people in the neighbourhood. I had to call it quits kind of early due to a snowball to the head, but I had fun listening to everyone else’s antics :) It was followed by some nice hours cozy by a fireplace. Too bad the fire was mostly because our power went out and then we had to use candles for light and the fireplace for heat, but it was really quite charming!

Now it’s the next day and pretty much all of the snow is on its way to the drainpipes, it being fairly warm and very sunny outside right now. Either way, I heard that every single state in the US had snow last night. So neat :D

Valentine’s Day Bunnies for Sale!

Monday, February 8th, 2010

Just in time for Valentines day! I just finished making these little guys and would love to send them out to the world.

They make a great “you & I” friendship / valentine pair to give to that special someone this year.

Have them for $22, free shipping!

That INCLUDES 3-5 day shipping which in my experience takes less than 4 days. (I recently sent a large, heavy package with 3-5 day shipping within the US and it took only 2 days!)

These are the only two I made. If you grab them now I can ship them today and if you are in the United States they will guaranteed be there by Valentine’s Day.

Price with shipping to Canada is $25. Anywhere else, just let me know and I’ll look it up.
