Commissioned shoes for Jen! <3 Her fursona and my own, playing around in the sky with stars and clouds. Lots of fun to do, and my first try with these new paints I got, which turned out so vibrant! I didn't edit the shoes themselves in this image, only the lighting levels. They're super bright and can be washed, too.
-Done on canvas shoes with fabric paints, touched up with fabric markers.
-Sprayed with varnish, then coated with an outdoor sneaker protector for waterproof/weatherproof wearing.
-Custom laces from Hot Topic added afterwards to match the design.

I found these at a shoe store yesterday and knew they would be the PERFECT things to draw on! They’re a size 7. I’m still picking my brain for ideas on what the theme should be, but I’m thinking something with lots of fine details and lots going on, since I have so much space to work with. We’ll see!
I also finally cleaned up my shelf.. it was getting kind of scary. It was oozing art supplies, books, papers that needed to be recycled, comic books that need to be read or put away, and boxes of random things that really needed to go in storage. I don’t have a ‘before’ shot, but this is it after I cleaned it.
I also made a little shelf for my paints out of the box they came in! It was fun to be crafty
