So I haven’t been updating.. mostly because all I’ve been creating have been Christmas gifts! And since I link this blog to friends and family, the very friends and family I am creating for, I don’t want to give anything away! So I am documenting everything I’m making, it’s just going to be a while before I can show everyone what it was that I made. I will in the meantime show you the Christmas tree that Brad put up. I picked out the ornaments which are teal and silver, and he picked out some really nice black sparkly ones. We also found really cute LED snowflake shaped lights which look beautiful on our little tree. And it is a little short, it’s standing on a desk right now. All the more room for tons of presents!
I also sent out my Christmas cards this past week, so hopefully everyone will get them before the 25th. And if not, well they can be Happy New Year cards instead
I’ll be showing you guys the image that I drew for the Christmas cards on Christmas day. I haven’t let ANYone online see the Christmas card design I made for this year yet, but I wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise for anyone who was going to see it in the mail!
Unrelated to all that, while I was knitting up gifts, I watched the entire series of Angelic Layer. It was a series done by my favourite artists CLAMP, that I still had yet to look into. Personally I normally rather read their manga and then watch the anime later, but this was nice because I could knit and have it playing in the background. I really feel like making some fanart for it, although that may have to wait until I’m done with all of these gifts *_* But anyway, the characters were adorable, the story was simple but cute, and it made me cry at the end ;_; totally worth it though. I wouldn’t recommend the English dub though, the actors were very over the top. Unfortunately that’s all I had since I couldn’t read subtitles and knit at the same time, and my Japanese is all but a little rusty! Anyway, I recommend it for CLAMP fans for sure. Not their greatest work, but definitely worth a look.
That’s all for now, Happy Holidays, and safe Christmas shopping!
